Electronic/ambient artist claire rousay enlists Helena Deland on new single 'Sigh In My Ear' for Saddle Creek Records Document series. The new track is the A-side to the limited 7-inch release (also featuring the interestingly titled 'My First Armadillo'), its a wistful, minimal track; autotuned vocals and looping guitar chords are accompanied by ambient details and textures that gently flicker in the margin, gradually peeling away to raw unaffected vocals in the final moments. The song comes as of part of a series by Saddle Creek that has featured a range of artists from all over the world including Divide and Dissolve and Hovvdy. Robb Nansel from the label describes the motivation behind the run of records: "We see Document as a unique way to reference our past, while at the same time reaching out to bands that aren't already part of the Saddle Creek family and allow them to shine a light on the art and music of their own communities. It's our way to try to capture a band and their community in a specific place at a specific time, and share that with the world."
